Ms. Wilson teaches Geology 1101 and Geology 1103 and the labs associated with these courses. Her interests include the formation and evolution of mountain belts, particularly the southern Appalachian Mountains. This research involves detailed geologic mapping at the 1:24,000-scale coupled with petrographic analyses to determine the deformational and metamorphic history of the region. She is also interested in pluton origin and emplacement, as well as metamorphic geochemistry.
